Waterproof Stereos

Although you can't exactly toss these units in the water and expect them to work, when installed correctly these can be very effective. Waterproof stereos have sealed buttons on the faceplate so that you can literally hose them down with water to no effect. In addition the CD door or the entire flip down faceplate seals completely on closure so that no water can get it. Again it is important that they are installed properly because water that leaks in from the back of the unit can still damage it.
